Those are the right guys.
They are the only three goalies to each finish top 10 in the three key goalie categories: W, GAA, SV%.
I think Bobrovsky will win this one.

Agreed, definitely the right guys.
I can honestly say that normally my eyes would go to Lundy for the win here but after the seasons that Niemi and Bobrovsky had I almost consider the 3rd place name here.
My vote goes to Niemi but I have a feeling Bobrovsky will sneak this one out.

I like Bob because his SV% (.932) is significantly better than Niemi's (.924).
Also, Bob played the year behind the following defense:
*Jack Johnson
*James Wisniewski
*Fedor Tyutin
*Nikita Nikitin
*Adrien Aucoin
*Tim Erixon
*Dalton Prout
Yeesh.
Bob's March/April numbers... they may be the best two-month stretch in hockey in recent memory.
Check this out.
March: 9-2-3, .950 SV%
April: 9-3-0, .941 SV%

18 wins in (not quite) two full months!!!
Has another goalie done that in recent history??!! (I don't know, just asking. Well... my own quick search reveals a red-hot Pekka Rinne in the Dec/Jan of previous season. 20 wins in two months!!!)
Imagine if CBJ had a longer season... or started to ride Bob sooner!

can non-playoff goalies win the vezina? when was the last time one did so? i think that might be the only knock on bob.
Bob was a beast.. and making the push for the playoffs had no days off!
Can't go wrong with any of them but my preference is Bob; definitely deserves it..

Can't complain with those three. I think it goes to Bob, causing the Flyers to put Ilya Bryzgalov into a space capsule and send him into the universe forever.
I own Rask, Bobrovsky, and Niemi in a keeper league I won this year.
How would you rank them going forward? Might deal one away.

I like to speculate... I think Bob's the favourite.
CBJ was pegged for last easily in the West and tied for the 8th spot... only to lose on a tie-breaker to MIN.
I'm not sure a sports book could put odds on this, but I'd bet Bob will be the favourite.
In the same way that Suter would be the favourite for the Norris.
Everybody loves the guy that pulled a team into playoff contention (Bob... Suter...).
Here... I don't think it matters that CBJ missed... because they overachieved to everybody's expectations.
I wonder how Rask and Anderson are re-acting to the news that they got snubbed?

Agree with the general sentiment ... definitely the right three guys this season. And I would put Lundqvist last of that group this season.
Not a knock against Lundy, just a nod to the fact that Bob and Niemi were both just incredible and completely responsible for whatever success their team's had this season. I'd probably give the slight edge to Bob though, given that nobody really picked him or Columbus to be any good this year whatsoever.
