    Question Drop 1 D-man...

Stats same as teams in sig, but 6F, 4D, 1G daily. Points are weighted very heavily to G/A/STP, (hits are almost inconsequential, so don't factor that in.)

Thinking more for the future (but not too far). I need to drop one of these players:

L.Schenn - solid D, but will he ever get decent points?
Tyutin - still on the right side of 30, pretty consistent
Blum - time to cut bait?
    D. Savard - 22 yrs old, still has upside? Any room for him on an improving CLB squad?

I'm thinking Tyutin is one to keep, but having a hard time deciding between the other 3. All are still young, would hate to give up on a guy a year before he breaks out (yet again )

I would drop Schenn. He will never score. The other guys might not either but at least they have more of a chance to do so.

    I would drop Savard.

Philly has shitty D so Schenn may actually get some prime PP-opportunities once Timonen retires. I'd keep him for just that reason.

    Schenn would be my drop.

Those who are hoping he will eventually score some points will be the same guys who think they have a shot to win the Lotto 6/49.

I'd cut Schenn. He won't be much of a scorer. His most attractive trait is HITS and that's inconsequential for your league so that makes him useless. Savard and Blum still have upside. Tyutin is still a solid D-man. So, Schenn is clearly on the has outs.

Pretty sure Schenn would be my drop. He's got a ton of value in hits/block leagues but if you don't really count them then he's not worth a spot. Blum is almost there. Nashville is a black hole for forward prospects, but it seems they can do no wrong with defensemen and goalies. Savard isn't showing it quite yet, but he has good upside as well. I'd be happy to own him right now. Especially with the future in mind I think Blum, Savard and Tyutin is the way to go.

I would definitely drop Schenn. He is not geared for this kind of league.

Thanks everyone - I was leaning towards Schenn as well and you've confirmed my initial thoughts!
