It's the Sun... nobody takes that paper seriously (we have it in Toronto too). It's like the national enquirer of daily newspapers.

I guess making story lines to sell a few newspapers and make a few bucks is worth making fun of head injuries, concussions, broken noses, losing teeth and laying in your own blood. Tabloid or not, does not matter. This type of stuff is serious in the game of hockey. This is embarrassing for them.
That's pretty lame - will probably just piss off the Habs even more, not a smart move. Should be an interesting game 2.

It's only a matter of time before the Sun takes a page out of UK newspapers and starts printing naked pictures of 16-year-old girls.
Classless move on their part. You don't showcase an injury and make a headline out of it. ''Hockey check'' or not, a player got injured from a hit to the head, which the league is trying to eliminate. Why try to sell papers with that garbage? I'm pretty sure most Senator players are not too pleased with that headline either.
I have a feeling the Canadiens will come out firing on all cylinders tonight; it should be a good one!
PS: The SUN is wrong about their statement anyways... Neil had his period during the first intermission so it should have been a picture of his mug on the can instead of a bloody Eller on the ice!

Eller is a hockey player and everyone was watching a ''show'' yesterday, but at the end of the day, Lars Eller is a human being that was knocked unconscious and sustained serious injuries. At one point, they even tried to quiet down the Bell Center to avoid adding stress when he was slowly coming to his senses cause he was freaking out from the blood he was spitting out and losing.

The Sun is pretty much toilet paper. I know in my area they've been giving it away for free for months now because they don't have readers that are willing to pay for it.
I gave up on humanity a long time ago. Pretty much everyone and everything is more interested in whoring whatever they can to make a buck. Just don't be complacent as I'm sure this would've popped up in other cities as well had the actors and stage been set different.
