OEL for Leddy and Simmonds
I would be giving up Leddy & Simmonds. On first glance it seems easy to pull the trigger but Simmonds is quite valuable in my goal and PIM heavy league. Is the upgrade of OEL over Leddy worth it?
It would make my keepers:
1. Kane
2. Neal
3. Parise
4. Benn
5. Pietrangelo
6. OEL
7. Lundqvist
8. One of or Wheeler or Johnson
Just a quick update, I'm talking with the other GM right now and he is hesitant of letting go of OEL, so he's only about 50/50 on making this deal.

It depends on how much you like Simmonds.
Personally I wouldn't. I wouldn't even trade Simmonds straight up for OEL, especially in a league thats so rewarding of PIMS such as yours.
I see Simmonds as a perennial 30/30/100pim guy. That's pretty damn valuable.
Simmonds is going to outscore OEL most years even with the bonus points awarded for defensemen scoring. I don't know if that's normal or not but I'd say Simmonds provides about a 30 fantasy point boost so if the range is normally wider then OEL is your man. If the range is about that or lower just ride it out with Simmonds. Both guys have upside.
I personally stick with Simmonds and Leddy. Mainly cuz I think Simmonds will remain consistent where you know what you get, very good in a multi-cat setting. But it's Leddy's untapped potential that intrigues me.
I am a Hawks fan however, so i might be bias, but the kid no doubt has a bright future ahead of him.
I think the most likely scenario that will pan out is Leddy will give you about 80% of what OEL will give you. The upgrade from Leddy to OEL is not worth Simmonds, who in a league like yours should in theory have top-50 or so value (for example, he was ranked at 45 for Yahoo standard cats this year).
16 team league, keep 12 plus *4 1st/2nd year players (16 total)

The issue is that in a keep-8 he's not going to be able to hang onto Leddy regardless.
