    Default Trading for Ovi (REP)

This is a salary cap league.

The guy likes Morgan Reilly, Trouba, Galchenyuk, JVR, and I have 3 1st rounders (8th, 18th, and 19th I think)

What would you be willing to give up for Ovi in this situation.

It's a tough time to try and trade FOR Ovechkin. Of the players listed I am sure you can include some of them but you're going to need a very good NHL'r to go in the package at minimun. I doubt trading prospects / picks will be a deal maker.

I wouldn't be trading for OV right now.. his value has gone back up. I feel like it is a very high risk trade for you.

    1. Ovechkin is going to cost you the majority of your farm team.
    2. Ovechkin is going to saddle you with a huge cap hit.
    3. Ovechkin could very easily revert back.

I really do feel that much of Ovechkin's success is due to Mike Green. Once Green got healthy Ovechkin starting finding the net a lot more. Mike Green is also a certified band-aid boy. I personally wouldn't take that much risk in Ovechkin (and to a degree Mike Green's health).

    NJD: Ovechkin-side for me.

I like the depth that CHI got... though I'm not as high on JVR & Schenn as some other people.
