83 points max and 70 points on the low end, unless he gets hurt or shits the bed
Pretty good first season with the rangers what do you think his point projection is going forward? I put him at 75-85

I'll be the first to admit he wildly surpassed my expectations.
Having said that I'm still pegging him as a 70 point guy next season.
42 points in 44 games. Less time for a slump, TBH next year I basically expect his Columbus numbers. So 65-75, no change.
Rick Nash is a point-per-game player, I think.
He'll play with either B.Richards or Stepan.
And NYR's PP defensemen puck movement can still improve.
I'd buy Nash for 75-80pts, going forward.
I would draft Nash as a 65-75 point player. He looked better this year but I think this was more of a "I have to prove myself season". Unless the Rangers get a new coach Nash has a very defined ceiling.
By me saying Nash is a 65-75 player I know I won't be able to draft him in any 1 year leagues because some one is always much higher on Nash than I am.

Don't mistake opinion for fact.
I'd agree. He was the team's most consistent performer despite the constantly shifting landscape among forwards. He's had Tortorella's trust for the entire season, a feat that should not be overlooked. He's a high-volume shooter (2nd in the league in shots per game). He finally showed a modicum of chemistry with a talented playmaking centerman (Stepan). He had a historically terrible season on the PP (for him), a feat that should also not be overlooked.
I think this was an average season from him, to be honest. I don't think he was materially better in a hockey sense than the last three seasons in Columbus (averaged 64 points), he just played for a superior team. That's worth at least 10 points over a full season.
16 team league, keep 12 plus *4 1st/2nd year players (16 total)
Points Only (w/ NHL salaries), start 8F/4D/1G
Note: Defencemen receive 1 point per 45 mins of ice time (1-2 points per week, ~30-35 pts per season).
Forwards:
L. Couture, F. Forsberg, T. Teravainen, O. Palat, C. Kreider, K. Hayes, *J. Guentzel, R. Rakell, *K. Labanc, B. Point, *C. Fischer
Defense:
*S. Theodore, S. Gostisbehere, *M. Matheson, J. Trouba
Goalie:
M. Murray
I can agree with this.. although I don't really see him having an explosive season under Tortz - he certainly has the ability to post an 85 point season though.
This all just further shows why I don't think poolies should draft Nash. In every league someone is expecting that 85 point season and will draft him as an 85 point guy. I've always found that Nash gets drafted as if he is a consistant PPG player not a a 65-75 point player who has potential to be a PPG player.

I'm in the boat of envisioning higher point totals from him. Always loved the guy as a player, and he's an enormously helpful asset in my league regardless if he gets to PPG+ in a season because it counts SOGs. Yours doesn't from what I remember of the sig, and that does change his value quite dramatically. An obvious point, but league setup certainly matters with a lot of players; Nash is no different.
