Sorry so late guys, crazy busy but wanted to get the Round 3 recap up before tonights Final kicks off. Standings have been updated.

What is really amazing is that there is very little duplication in the Top 10 so this really could still be anybody's game.

    Let's recap -

Top Picks From Round 1 Eliminations

    Montreal - Subban - 4
    Washington - Green - 4
    Toronto - Kessel/Franson - 6
    Islanders - Streit - 5
    Anaheim - Getzlaf/Beauchemin - 6
    Vancouver - Sedin/Burrows/Sedin - 3
    St Louis - Backes/Steen - 3
    Minnesota - Parise - 1

Top Picks From Round 2 Eliminations
Ottawa - Karlsson - 8 (since he was the only Sen picked)
    NYR - Lundqvist - 7
    San Jose - Pavelski - 12
    Detroit - Zetterberg - 12

Top Picks From Round 3 Eliminations
    Pittsburgh - Malkin/Letang - 16
    Los Angelas - Carter/Voynov - 13

    Top Point Producing Teams
    Pittsburgh - 67
    Boston - 56
    San Jose/Los Angelas - 52

Top Producing Forward Selection - Malkin - 16
Top Producing Defenseman Selection - Letang - 16
Top Producing Goalie Selection - Rask - 14

I would just like to take this opportunity to point out once again that Pittsburgh's representatives failed to score a single point in Round 3. Yes, that is the obnoxious Bruins fan coming out in me. Sorry

Hmm so the only way I can win this is if the Bruins win the Cup while at the same time Toews has a monster finals.

Through 2 games, hawkdog has maintained his 2-point lead over HockeyProphet and DerekReese has tied himself for second. Going to be a nail biter of a finish.
    Without me, it's only "aweso".

Wow, so after last night, hawkdog and DerekReese are tied for 1st place with 114 points. HockeyProphet and MolsonX are right behind them with 113.

Raises an interesting question that should have been laid out from the beginning. In the event of a tie, what should the tie-breaker be? I think Goals is probably what makes the most sense unless anyone else has a better suggestion.

Co-winners, and try to convince Dobber to give a guide to each of them. It's too late to randomly choose a tiebreaker.

I agree with this if Dobber will be on board with it. I'll send the big man a message.

Wow, last night certainly made things interesting. Much like the Stanley Cup Final, this pool is a tight race and definitely anyone's game. There are now 4... count em... 4 users tied for first place with 116 points.

    hawkdog - Kane/Marchand
    DerekReese - Kane/Rask
    HockeyProphet - Crawford/Chara
    Bnhershy - Kane/Chara

Wow. And MolsonX only one point back. I don't suppose Dobber would give 4 or 5 guides eh?

MolsonX is out of the running as he has the same players remaining as DerekReese.

Dobber hasn't gotten back to me yet on whether he will contribute another guide in the event of a tie. But I will foot the bill if need be. Not sure what to do if there's a four way tie though... I don't have that kind of money spare haha.

No need to worry about that! If I'm part of a tie I'll pass on the guide but everybody in this pool has to help answer my questions I leave in the forums! Ha..

Either way I'll be throwing rep your way for running a fun playoff pool and keeping it updated and what-not!

All I need is a 4 point night from Toews combined with a win for Rask and I'll be in first place. Sounds simple enough.

Bnhershy has taken sole position of first place with Game 5 in the books.

Congrats to Bnhershy and HockeyProphet for sharing the win in the 2013 Dobberhockey Playoff Pool. You will be receiving a copy of The Guide for your efforts. Great job on the picks guys!
