Not sure what you mean... I'd say the worse team lost.

Time to give the Sens the respect they deserve.

Agreed. The future looks good for both clubs but the Sens looks that much brighter.

I think the better team is moving on.

At least lots of classy fans stayed to the end and serenaded/thanked their team for the year they gave them. Good on Montreal and it's fans.

Tough series for them in many ways.

Jeff, in what way were the Habs better than the Sens? Shots on goal?

Your excuses are nothing compared to what the Sens have dealt with the whole entire year. Not to mention they handled you guys with their best forward still out of the line up.

Every team faces adversity... good teams rise above it. Let's call a spade a spade here... the habs were shit this series... even despite the injuries.

Like the Sens had no adversity this season???

Their resilience was nothing short of remarkable.

Lol i know Sens are a good team but in no way the Senators should have won it in 5 game if it was not from all the bs that happened in the series. + they also didnt play their best. Those are not excuses but are facts.

Congrats to the Sens! Even as a Habs fan, I'm going to root for them from now on.

Habs played really hard in 4 of 5 games (that game 3 was a disgrace, though) and deserved better than what they got.

They outplayed the Sens in game 1 and 4 and didn't win any of those two. Shows you how much goaltending is important in the playoffs. Anderson is a beast!

Still a great year for the Habs who made great strides. I'd be more disappointed in the end result if the Sens weren't a solid team and if we didn't play them hard but since both are true, I'm happy.

    Cheers!

Congrats to the Sens and their fans. I've been pulling all year for you, so it's ironic you knock out my team in the first round.

Habs played much better then what the final tallies in the series showed, and deserved better, but Anderson was a beast and everything went sideways that could have. Still a great year, and I'm incredibly proud to cheer for the Habs!

Think I'll be cheering against MacLean going forward though. :P

Congrats to the Sens on a well executed Round 1. They deserved to win that series for sure!

Wouldn't be surprised if they get swept next round though.
