    Or, y'know, they could actually win from solid goaltending and strong team play.

    It's not really all of Canada. Just some people...and let's be honest praba, you don't really want them to change this style of play, or else what would you post about??

    yup, not denying the fact that they are skilled enough to win based off talent alone. but they dont play like that, which is what pisses me off. why would you sink to that level when you could just as easily win without embellishing?

    @mirtle 43 min
    Mentioned this late last night but I'm hearing Luongo is likely to start postseason for Canucks. Schneider injury a real x-factor.

    --

    So after all the drama around Luongo for the past year, it seems he's starting in net for them in the playoffs.

    It makes us all mad Prada, but you have to realize its not just the canucks.

    No Murray and Clowe definitely helps but I'm worried about:
    1) Niemi playing out of his MIND right now.
    2) San Jose stars have been way too quiet for way too long and I just hope they don't miraculously figure it out now right in time for the playoffs.
    3) The fact that the Sharks won all three games this year.

    I'm gonna go with Canucks in 6 though. Hopefully this year they can get through the first round lol.

    Did they faceoff with the Canucks healthy though? With Kesler and Roy the Canucks have more depth. Hopefully that will be enough.

    I don't think the Sharks are missing Clowe. Burns has been decent playing forward and Torres has played really well for them too. They could miss some of Murray's physicality but Vlasic has stepped his game up big time this season.

    I'll take the Sharks in 6.

    I think the Nucks take this, but it'll be itneresting to see how the two teams match up if the refs don't take over the series like last time. I distinctly recall one period of a playoff game that was almost fully 5-on-3. If the refs can remain sane, this could be interesting.

    Sure glad they didn't trade Lou for a bag of pucks. Glad he gets another chance, he needs to make the most of it.
