Are any of these Dmen an upgrade?
Based on the makeup of my team I will probably only be keeping 2 defensemen. Pietrangelo is a lock, but I'm struggling with my second option between either Leddy or Jack Johnson.
If I look for a trade in the off-season, I'd appreciate any opinions on whether any of the following guys are a worthwhile upgrade on those two to target:
- Carlson
- Edler
- Voynov
- Green
- Kronwall
- Del Zotto
- Burns

Leddy over JJ
Dynasty 12-Keeper League 27-player roster.. Most points at end of season. Must drop 5 at end and then draft 5.

Carlson and Burns would be the two guys I would go after. Carlson is just a stud and he'll only get better as Washington continues to improve. Get him while you can, because he won't be available much longer. Burns is going to be golden next year if he keeps playing on the wing. As a forward you can probably expect anywhere from 40-55 points from him. Obviously if he's got D eligibility (and why wouldn't he?) he's going to be a top-10 scoring D-man.
The others are debatable. I'd take Edler over Johnson but maybe not over Leddy with your stats. Carlson and Burns are the only two that I would actively pursue. If you put Johnson and Leddy on the block and some of the others get offered I would look at it, but I wouldn't seek them out.
