Just found "The Peaky Blinders" UK Mob in 1919 - obviously just post WW1 which plays a huge role. Watched 1st episode last night... this show is sick. #hooked

Has anyone taken the time to watch the Netflix show Dark? I have read that it's a German show that is dubbed to English but I have read that the show itself is really good. I personally hate watching dubbed shows but is this one worth the aggravation?

There are a lot of dubbed shows showing up on NF lately - I can't do it either.

Just started Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency - it's crazy like you'd expect, I'm almost done season one and I'm still watching. Not really a fan of Elijah Wood but the rest of the cast is great.

Just finished Big Little Lies. I enjoyed it.....can't really say much else without spoiling it lol

Started Mindhunter as well. Great dialogue.

I watched the 1st episode of The Deuce last night. It wasn't too bad. Not sure what to make of it yet but I will keep watching for now.

The show is farked up but damn good. I am five episodes into the first season and this show is quite interesting. Well worth checking out.

For what it's worth, Netflix allows you to switch from dubbed to English subtitles. It's a much better experience, IMO.

I thoroughly enjoyed that 1st season. I see what you are saying about Elijah. I think his character would have been better served by having someone less well known playing it.

Spent yesterday rewatching the first season of The Newsroom. Good lord is that show great. Sam Waterston is fantastic as always, and it was really the first time I looked at Jeff Daniels as a serious actor and put some of his "Dumber" movies out of my mind. The characters are just fantastic and deep, and I really love the mix of reality and fiction, humour and drama.

Just started Altered Carbon and Mindhunters. Both so far so good.
