Not looking good for you P7... you'll need some luck this weekend.

At least your goalie decisions are easy now

Well, Backstrom sure threw a wrench into things for me. 3 goals on 5 shots - damn that hurts.

All to play for tonight - and maybe Sunday. Pengwin has made one of his moves - Methot.

Too bad Backstrom got rocked... but I'm at least happy that the match-up is close.
Win or lose, I will enjoy watching the last game of the season with the title on the line!

Some pretty poor goalie performances, but Luongo's 6-goal third period was just brutal. I'm guessing that may have been the nail in the coffin...

Well, it turns out that Pengwin sat Luongo, so that might have saved him losing SV% - not sure. It's too close to call:

I have P.Bergeron, Seidenberg and Cowen left.
He has Phillips, Methot and Ference left.

With the forward (Bergeron), horrorfan has the advantage.
I was in great shape for a few minutes last night and then horrorfan got the late PHX goal (Vermette) and a late SJ assist (Burns).

I gave myself a BIG pat-on-the-back for pulling Luongo out of my line-up last night at 9:56pm.
Also, Vrbata was HUGE... he was my transaction last Sunday in advance of this week.
(Though Vrbata's 3G,1A,+3 performance single-handedly killed my chances at winning the RHRS roto league - as he was on the 1st place team! )

I'll need to take BLK and squeeze out an assist from my defense (Phillips is my likely guy) to pull this out.

It's a crazy day for me.
I actually have THREE championships (2 H2H, 1 Roto) on the line today!

Never had a regular season game in my life with so much fantasy hockey implications!!!

Still, anything can happen. And it will when I'm asleep - thought it would be an afternoon game for some reason but alas no, so will find out in the morning.

    Win or lose...great battle.

This is how championships are meant to be decided!

    I love close battles.

Good luck to both, may the best poolie win

Seidenberg is killing it for HF right now... goal, assist, 3 hits, 2 blocks and a powerplay point.

Not looking promising for P7 right now... the only cat within striking distance for him is blocks, but HF is pulling away on all the other fronts.

Yep, Seidenberg was huge for me, which did help win it. Here's the final matchup:

Thanks Pengwin for a great battle. At least I managed to avoid you beating me in multiple leagues this season.

Congrats to both of you for a well fought and highly entertaining finale.

As you can tell, I enjoyed living vicariously through your match since mine was rather anticlimactic.

Next year... it's time to for you to join the real "big dogs" of fantasy hockey and play in some leagues with some Dobber members.
It's time for you to get your feet wet in multi-cat!!!
