    My list:

    1. Morgan Rielly
    2. Ryan Murray
    3. Matt Dumba
    4. Derrick Pouliot
    5. Cody Ceci
    6. Jacob Trouba
    7. Joe Morrow
    8. Nathan Beaulieu
    9. Sami Vatanen
    10. Ryan Sproul
Without worrying about ranking, I like this list. Except I'd take out Pouliot and put Lindholm in. Pouliot was a guy I was never a huge fan of, although the Pens trading Joe Morrow helps Pouliot's future a bit.

I would give Donovan a serious consideration. He's ready to step in next year unlike some of the other names I've seen that may take 2-3 years before seeing any NHL action. Donovan has the added element of toughness so he's extra valuable in leagues with PIM and Hits.
I can't promise I'll try but I'll try to try.

    Nice list!

To me, Lindholm's skating and hockey IQ will really help him excel in the NHL. He's going to be one of those guys that will play huge minutes and chip in offensively, much like OEL. If I were to put Sproul on my list, I'd be taking Beaulieu off but that's hard to do.

    Thanks! Same to you.

I'll take your word for it on Lindholm. I don't know much about him other than what I've read.

1.Rielly - no one with higher upside under 25 GP imho.
2.Trouba - could just be a beast in muti cats.
3.Dumba - upside is so tempting but less likely then the above two.
4.Morrow - move to dallas gives him very little comp, and he is close to nhl ready.
5.Murray - tough blow with the injury but he should get every opp to suceed.
6.Sproul - really high on his upside, detroit back end depleted a bit.
7.Vatanen - ducks have room for him, and his upside is quite high, see kimmo timmonen for best comparison.
8.Beaulieu - top rated prospect in mtl's organization who hasn't made the team full time yet imo.
9.Pouliot - opp to play on pit back end for years to come, he may take 2 years before seeing nhl action but it will likely be worth the wait.
10.Lindholm - raw tools are off the charts from what i remember at the scouting combine. maybe an heir to beauchemin's role? (two way presence)

HM: Koekkoek, Ceci, Murphy, Reinhart, Donovan, Gormley

most of the guys on the HM list didn't make it because of steeper competition on their teams, or decreasing stock in the case of murphy.

Connauton isn't even with the Canucks any more! If you are going to make fun of my bias (which I try to remove/avoid when dolling out fantasy advice), at least have another Canuck prospect in there with Corrado (although there aren't really any....).

Has Jon Merrill fallen that far out? He has 8 points in 12 games as a first year pro. And if he makes the team next year, isnt he one of their top offensive dman before the season even starts?

Whats the word on Gormley? Is he just stuck in a deep depth chart in Phx? Or is he rounding into more of a 2-way dman?
