Rebuilding Questions

Alright Gentleman, have recently taken over a team in a 20 team Dynasty League that in my opinion is in need of a rebuild. (Weak list of prospects, almost full team of aging Vets)
The league settings: Weekly H2H 4 Center 8 Winger 6 D 1 Goalie 7 bench 20 prospects (going up to 30 after this year’s draft)
G A +/- PP SHP GWG SOG FW
W GA SV SV%

My questions are what the appropriate asking price is for the said player:
P.Datsyuk
B.Richards
M.Koivu
D.Heatley
P.Marleau
J.Iginla
B.Morrow
P.Elias
C.Kunitz
M.Cullen
N.Kronwall
M.Carle

Obviously it would be a lot to ask for a return on every player but I’m looking to move the top 6 for sure so maybe a couple opinions
As of right now I’ve been offered mainly high end prospects and picks

It would certainly help to know what your teams needs are, specifically with respect to C/W/D/G and also what kind of players are in your farm right now. Your needs will change with each trade if you're planning to make several, but I suggest you make your biggest splash first. Trade Datsyuk to a contender for one prospect with a career upside (90+ points) and another second tier prospect. Then I would trade Kunitz, Kronwall, and Iginla in that order. I feel you could probably keep Koivu, and guys like Richards, Heatley, and Marleau just won't fetch much right now. I would pray that one or two of them have better seasons next year and you can flip them to a contender at that time.

When you're making a rebuild happen, think sell high and buy low. Best targets will be guys who take a circuitous route to the NHL, but have big upside (apparently like Nazem Kadri has). Also guys who got hyped and underperformend (e.g. Granlund this year).

The rest depends on your league and the GMs. Post some specifics ere when ready and get the community to help at that time. Good luck.

Thanks for the advice man, basically the team needs youth. Im not looking for much in goal as the league only asks for 2 starts and im running Rinne and Elliot and have Malcolm Subban in the minors.
As for the prospect list. Its topped by Tory Krug, Danny Kristo and Mark Stone. Pretty weak IMO.

Your team is still decent. My advice is to wait for next season to start before taking any step to rebuild. In the best case scenario, you may actually find yourself in a position to compete. If not, then your older players that will have a good start can then be traded to the teams that will be in the hunt for the championship. From my experience, it is very difficult to get value for older players during the off-season as most GMs look into the future instead of focusing on immediate production.
