    Default Final Decision - Spurgeon/Tyutin and Roy/Desharnais

So last week of my finals, I'm ahead 6-3 based on the first week's result so all I have to do is win 3 categories and the silver chalice is mine.

    Two toughish lineup decisions:

Roy v Desharnais as 3rd Cman:

    - Roy - 5 games: @Dal, Det, Chi, Ana, @Edm - no B2B - Roy's now playing on Kesler's wing but getting absolutely no PP time

    - Desharnais - 5 games: TB, WSH, @NJ, @Wpg, @Tor - no B2B -Desharnais still getting first line minutes and primo PP time - starting to heat up with 4 pts in his last 4 - note that I also have Markov in the lineup

Spurgeon v Tyutin as 5th Dman:

    - Spurgeon - 5 games: @SJ, Cgy, LA, Edm, @Col - 1 B2B - getting less ES time but still top PP pairing with Suter - slumping lately, 0 pts in last 4

    - Tyutin - 4 games: @LA, @SJ, @Dal, NSH - no B2B - getting top ES time and also PP time - hot lately, 3 pts in last 4

    My feeling is that:

    - I keep Desharnais in there as Montreal is facing weaker defenses than Roy's Canucks, and he's more likely to get me PPPs. Roy hasn't been taking lots of SOG, that could have swung the pendulum to him. And Montreal has to get out of this slump and if they do it will be by outscoring their opposition.

    - I put Spurgeon in instead of Tyutin, given the extra game Spurgeon has and the fact that he's on the top PP unit for the Wild, who need to continue to press to confirm their playoff position.

    Thoughts?

I'd go with Desharnais and Spurgeon.

Desharnais because he's got the better situation and Spurgeon for the extra game. When deciding between two options and neither are anything spectacular I always go with the extra game.

Thanks guys. Here's an interesting twist, would you start both Desharnais and Roy and sit Marleau?

    Marleau - 5 games: Min, CBJ, Dal, @Pho, @LAK

He's consistently still getting top TOI, including on the PP, and he's a lock for 3 or 4 SOG, so loathe to set him.

UPDATE: Actually, Horton has 6 games now with the April 28th game, might play him instead of Marleau, or instead of Brown (also 5 games).
