Default H2H Semi-finals Goalie Help (REP)

Okay here are the numbers in my H2H:

    Me: 0 1.85 .938 0
    Him: 2 2.50 .891 0

So I'm up in two cats, but the problem is that I only have one start under my belt this week because I have just the Boston handcuff, and the B's game against Ottawa was postponed.

If I play my goalies in all of Boston's games through Sunday, I'll meet our 3 game minimum. Boston plays Pittsburgh on Friday... and then an easier game on Sunday vs. Florida.

With the lack of starts, chances are I'm going to have to punt the wins category. I really want to play "defense" with the GAA and SV% cats. I'm worried that Friday's game against the Pens are going to blow those numbers skyhigh...

So I'm left with two questions/thoughts?

    1) Do I even start Rask/Khudobin against Pittsburgh? I know, I know "start your studs", right? But Pittsburgh's offence is piling up the goals even without Crosby, Malkin and Neal.

    2) Should I look to grab a goalie off the wire for a "spot start" for Friday, Saturday or Sunday? I'm not too concerned about whether he wins or not (although, that would be nice). I'm more concerned about the GAA and SV% numbers to stabalize those cats. Here are some notable names on the FA list: (** b2b games coming up)

    Enroth **
    Mason
    Clemmenson
    Bernier
Bachman **(but couldn't grab him for today's game)
    Neuvirth
    Vokoun **
    Kuemper
    Budaj
    Bishop
Allen **(but couldn't grab him for today's game)
    Scrivens
Biron **(but couldn't grab him for today's game)

Are any of these guys worth sneaking in for a QUALITY spot start over the next 3 days, rather than play Rask (or Khudobin) vs. Pittsburgh? Thanks and I'll rep ya...

More importantly for me, how are you doing in the rest of the matchup?

That being said, I would expect Rask to be nets on Friday as that would be a 6 day gap between starts, so I would start him, regardless that it's Pittsburgh. I would rather trust my stud then risk it with a spot starter.

I would grab a goalie for a spot start against and dont play any goalie against Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh is just too deep of a team and they are still scoring a ton of goals even without Crosby, Malkin and Neal.

I would look at picking up Vokoun or Bernier for your spot start.

Up 8-1 right now. And hold the tiebreaker should it come down to that. But some of the scoring cats are close, so things could flip.

I'm willing to bet Vokoun will go against Buffalo on Saturday. Bylsma has always gone with MAF first in a b2b, followed by Vokoun in the second game regardless of the matchups.

Bernier is a good spot start, but there's no b2b's and LA rarely announces their goalie the day before... How inconvienient.

I'd stick with the Boston duo and get your three starts. But that's me.
