Default Ehrhoff & Girardi & Kulikov FOR Edler

So I have to activate Letang and was looking for a trade.

I offered him Ehrhoff & Girardi for Edler but the other guy rejected and now proposed to me
Ehrhoff & Girardi & Kulikov for Edler
as he said he wants 2 Keepers back and doesn't consider Girardi as one of them.

My problem is I really like Kulikov. I also like Spurgeon a lot.
But in order to get Edler I have to give up Ehrhoff (what's no problem at all for me) and another one.

I also still have a lot of faith in Ryan Ellis and don't like to trade him.

    So basically
    1) Would you guys give up Ehrhoff+Kulikov and Ehrhoff+Spurgeon for Edler?
    2) Kulikov OR Spurgeon - Who to trade away?

    EDIT:
Also have to add that these kind of 3-1 trades are the exact way I got my entire team Always adding masterpieces from the waiver wire afterwards :P

Giving up Kulikov is a tough pill to swallow but based on pure trade value alone (IMO), I'd give you the green light. In msot formats getting the best player in the deal is usually the way to go.

I'm probably in the minority, but I'm not convinced Edler is a HUGE upgrade over Ehrhoff. Looking at their career numbers both appear to be 40-50 point D-men. Sure Edler is 4 years younger, but assuming BUF improves next season there's little reason to think they won't be nip-and-tuck in the points with each other. They're a whopping 1 point apart in the standings right now. VAN generates a lot of offense from the back end, but they happily spread it around...Hamhuis, Edler, Bieksa, Garrison can all generate some offense. Ehrhoff is the "man" in BUF.

My primary issue is that I hate for you to part with young prospects without gaining significantly in keeper value. I don't hate Ehrhoff/Spurgeon for Edler. I just plain think Spurgeon is a bit of the product of a good situation. Kulikov on the other hand is a 1st round pick on a team that is slowly but surely adding a ton of young talent up front. I think this will be Kulikov's team to run [from the back end] within 2 years [I think there's a chance they even move Campbell at some point].

I'd consider the one trade, but personally would not include Kulikov at all.

Beware of selling low on Kulikov! Give up Spurgeon before Kuli for sure if you're going to do this.

So I offered him Spurgeon & Ehrhoff but he rejected it.
    I'm not trading Kulikov away...

    Thanks for the input!
