That's a blow for the Habs, in the games I have watched this season he has been a force on the blueline, this makes their D corps less intimidating.John Lu @JohnLuTSNMtl 1m #Habs announce Emelin is out for the season with a torn ligament in his left knee.
Its good thing that they gave Beualieu and Tinordi somes games before... they will be ready for playoffs with 15-20 games of experience.. with is better than 2 or 3..
Price will have to be solid and Markov and Subban too.
+ Weber and Diaz are close.. I dont think they are in a real hole with Emelin out.

Beaulieu and Tinordi should not see a minute of ice time in the playoffs. With Diaz coming back, the top 6 would be Markov-Drewiske, Gorges-Subban, Boullon-Diaz. Weber is not even a factor anymore, since the Habs prefer to recall a rookie instead of insert him in the line-up.Originally Posted by sharpp87
Drewiske is pretty good since his arrival, and his playing style is closer to Emelin's than any other D on the line-up.
But the second another Dman is hurt, Tinordi or Beaulieu will be force into action.
Sorry to hear he is injured. I had actually been trying to find a GIF of this hit to make my new AV, but in light of the injury, I will keep my one of PK.
