Ugh, what terrible timing. My playoff start Monday, and Corolina play MOnday, Tuesday and have a 4 game week.....Semin is a likely keeper, so I can't just drop him. If he is gonna miss the entire week though, I may have to consider it though. Tough decisions to come....Originally Posted by SeaDawg

Broadcast said it was a dtd UBI he had been playing through, so unlikely a concussion.
You think you have it bad, my playoff semifinals are two week long with league rules setup so rosters are locked for each round and no add/drops since start of playoffs.
Benched Letang at beginning of week, and now have Neal/Semin hurt unable to replace them.

yeap, injuries during the playoffs are devastating and I often find that because teams are ramping up for their own playoffs, they sometimes sit players for "precautionary" reasons during our (fantasy) playoffs.
Carolina has a favorable schedule (lots of games to be played) in the final 3 weeks of the season (4, 3, 4 in the three final weeks, respectively). I'm benching him this coming week for Parise (also has 4 games), but I hope he returns so I can play him in the final 2 weeks.

There is some talk on twitter that he travelled with the team and is 50/50 for tonight. We'll probably get some more info closer to game time though..
I need him to step up this week with Neal out & Getzlaf DTD.
Would be nice to have him in...as Carolina plays four games this week and this is my first week of H2H playoffs (sounds like that's the case for quite a few leagues).

I had crept within 10 pts of 1st place with one of my teams, only to lose Crosby, Neal, Semin, Fleury (who is now back) to injury just when I thought I had a chance to move into first place.
Not that I can complain when the team in first place has had to deal with a slew of injuries also, such as Zetterberg, Kovachuk, Sharp, Malkin (at various points), and Hossa (at various points).
Injuries, especially in this shortened season, are having a huge impact. Crosby missing 10 games normally wouldn't be a big deal, but in this shortened season, he likely won't return in time to save my season.
