Kimmo Timonen (undisclosed) will be a game-time decision on Saturday, according to Flyers GM Paul Holmgren.
Timonen wasn't able to complete Thursday's game against Toronto. He has four goals and 24 points in 37 games this season.

Kimmo Timonen has a compression fracture in his right foot and will be sidelined for four to five weeks.
It's been that kind of season for Philly. Timonen joins Andrej Meszaros, Nicklas Grossmann, Braydon Coburn, Bruno Gervais, Kent Huskins, Marc-Andre Bourdon and Chris Pronger among the Flyers' wounded defensemen, which isn't even counting the forwards that are hurt. Needless to say, Timonen will miss the rest of the season.

Ugh. Although I guess the timing is okay -- only a couple more games. Still, if I lose by a point, this could be the reason.
Points-only, Full Keeper Dynasty League

Anyone follow Timo's progress? How long is the healing process for a compression fracture? Require surgery? Trying to see if I could capitalize on his last year next year in a salary cap league, then I can dump his salary or he retires after next season..in a way, frees up $6M in my cap space. I think he'd still be a valuable asset in a league counting PP points, hits/blks as peripherals. He'd be a good draft pick up in the 20th rd of a 24 team league..yeah?
Thanks in advance
