I'm liking how the team plays in front of Allen and this year I never could get around putting my faith Elliot.
I would be inclined to go with Allen. I could see him staying hot for stretches where the coach will keep him started.
Both goalies have gotten wins since halaks injury. Elliot vs a hot Chicago team in Chicago as well and Allen with a 3-1 win tonight at home. 2nd of back to backs tho. So who's going to get the better stats and more starts. Elliot or Allen?

I think we're gonna see Jake Allen steal the show a little bit here. The kid is good. and posting good peripherals. I think they ride him the most as they move towards the playoffs. Gut feeling in me says he's also the starter in the playoffs as well over Halak if he stays out longer than expected and or struggles upon return.
This is a tricky one. I have Halak also and have the first pick Sunday night waiting to be filled by one of these 2. Elliot wins against Chi. which is a big statement, but I believe Allen to be the better tender. I have to make the choice of picking one, and I need to get it right. Elliot doesn't want his golden oppurtunity stolen by a kid, and will do everything in his power to cease control of the situation. Allen's technically more sound IMO, but can anyone here really say what's gonna happen? You can't forget what Elliot did last year. Was it a fluke? Does he get it back now, despite terrible periphials on the season? If we only had one or two more games to guage it.. but we don't. please ALL VETS, weigh in here! Thanks.
P.S. All good advice here from inside info that anyone may have will get REP!
