The pens only have 7 games left, and Neal will play at the very max 4 of those (and even that is highly unlikely). So if you can pick up a player who has 8-9 games remaining, even in the best case scenario Neal will only have half the games to match his output. Cut him loose..

Any chance he'll be back this week?

Any updates on Neal? I really need him back for Championship week

Non-keeper league, would you keep Neal? If your best replacements are Stastny, Setoguchi and Horton?

If you're in need of man-games I personally wouldn't be keeping Neal or Crosby. I think at best they'll play a game or two in the last week before the playoffs to tune-up, if even that... your team may be eliminated before you even get to that point.

Chris Nichols ‏@Nichols_NHLPool 57s #Pens indicate James Neal is now symptom-free. Evgeni Malkin is day-to-day w/ upper-body injury.

thats a tough call, also just saw this on twitter:

Seth Rorabaugh ‏@emptynetters 20m Bylsma: Neal is symptom free after skating today.
He has to be close but maybe Wednesday is too soon for him .... its not like Neal was tearing it up before going down anyways .....

I had him benched for a while because he was ice cold, and then I started him the week Iggy joined the line and he put up a big donut, so I don't think you're really losing out on any massive upside if you drop him.

Geno's line has been relatively quiet since acquiring Iggy.

I think Neal is the odd man out in PIT anyway. I don't think he'll be on PP1 anymore but he should still play in the top 6.

I'd be shocked if he played this week. Maybe a game next week if we're lucky.

James Neal left Wednesday's game in the second period with an undisclosed injury.
It appears to be to his leg. Neal was seen limping on the ice during the Penguins' early power-play opportunity in the second period and was replaced by Beau Bennett on the line with Evgeni Malkin and Chris Kunitz. Neal had a shot on goal in 8:09.
