Quick & Subban for Kane ? URGENT

Just got offered Patrick Kane for my Quick & Subban. Thereafter I can accept an offer of Dubynk for my Skinner.

I'm currently in 1st place and trade deadline end in 1 hour.

Should I accept the Patrick Kane for my Quick & Subban ?

Any Feedback tonight would be greatly appreciated.

In a keep 10, I pass. Youneed to have balance with your keepers at F, D and G. You would greatly weaken your D losing Subban and your goaltending by losing Quick for Dubnyk. You have some nice young forwards: Skinner, Tarasenko, etc. that will have you sitting pretty. Lastly, you're in first for a reason. Pass.

Thanks One87. Just one more little question. I told him NO for Subban & he might accept Quick & Kunitz for his Patrick Kane and then I flip Skinner for Dubynk. Would this sound like a great trade and not jeoperdize loosing 1st place ?

I get Kane's upside, but this is how I see it. Kunitz = Kane THIS YEAR. And the fact that you're in 1st THIS YEAR with a chance to win it is why I have a hard time shipping Quick off.

So you trade Kunitz AND Quick, your team is going to sink because your tending will suffer under Dubnyk. Imo, the value is Kane = Quick if you must deal. You both would walk away with a keeper who happens to be a player in the upper tier of his respective position.

I'm not a fan of either. In a keep 10, its probably best to keep at least one goalie, but I would have a hard time justifying Dubnyk/Hiller/Fasth as keepers. Having at least 1 solid G and 1 solid D to keep in Quick and Subban will go a long way.

I concur with above. subban is a beast. and really, only goalie you should even consider is quick

Thanks guy's! I just cancelled the offer and now off to bed. With all your help I think I did the right thing and now just need to stay in 1st and win it all. Also looking good for me next year with all the young talent on my team.
