Default Pick up 1 of Hall, Lupul, Khadri..?

Very much appreciate any feedback!!! I'm dropping Kovalchuck from my 27 man points only pool roster and can pick up just ONE of the following. Who would you take, 1/g 1/a points only for rest of year beginning with tomorrow nite games. New Player's points to date don't count

    Leafs have 12 games, 6 home, 2 b-t-b
LUPUL KHADRI (both hot, will it last)

    Oil have 12 games left, 7 home, 2 b-t-b
    HALL 10pts/5 games (15 in 6 now)

I could also pick up Iggy, Kunitz, Parenteau, Marchand, Moulson.

Appreciate any help. In the money now but going to be a struggle to stay there.

Yeah, lots of good picks. Need some help.
I'll narrow it down to Hall, Lupul or Khadri. All are hot. Which one would you take until end of season, points only.
    Really appreciate any opinions.

It's between Hall or Lupul for me. Both are red hot right now. Edmonton's opposition has been weak as of late but their top line of Hall, Eberle, RNH should still pick up steady points. Lupul has been an absolute monster since returning from injury. Personally, I would go with Lupul.

    I'd take Hall, hands down.

Lupul and Kadri are doing great things but this is an easy choice for me personally.

Thanks guys. It's a tie Lupul/Hall. Got 45 min left to decide my fate. Value any further opinions.

    Hall for me.
I can't promise I'll try but I'll try to try.

I think Kadri/Lupul are the safer bets.

Hall is the high-risk high reward guy. Just because he's had something like 8 points in the last couple of games is no guarantee it will continue, esepcially considering the opposition he did it against.

You should consider not only the number of games, but also the match-ups. Either way, you have some nice options.

If you need a home run to catch up, I'd go for Hall, if you're at the top and are looking to protect, i'd take one of the leaf guys personally.

Take into account that Edmonton's next 3 games are @Van, @LA, and @Ana. If you pickup Hall, you should expect his numbers to take a hit during those games. Just FYI.

Hall has 10 points in his last 3 games.

Before that he had 31 points in 30 games.

Matchup wise his best performances in the past month have been:

    Calgary: 1G 3A, 1G 1A (Calgary most definitely sucks)
    Vancouver: 3G
    St.Louis: 1G 2A
    Detroit: 1G 1A
    Chicago 1G 1A

Other than Calgary I'd say that level of competition has been pretty good.

I'm not faulting you for taking either of Lupul or Kadri, as I said they've been doing some big things this year. I do think your reasoning is flawed and that your opinion of Hall being a BAB could be seeping in to your decision to not take him though.

    COME ON BLAYZE!

Hall WILL....ONE DAY... win you over (so stubborn! lol).

Anyway...Hall for me fella. I'm a believer. Before his rediculous production over the past 30 days (which included the president Trophy winners of the past couple years)...Calgary isn't the only team he's faced.

Lupol would be second or or Kadri as he remains on the 3rd line and that's a perfect place for him to thrive at this point in his career.

Just to clarify, when I said consider the match-ups, I meant the match-ups going forward, not backward.

In any case, that's better opposition than I expected. You swayed me, in that case I'd take Hall (reluctantly hah!). I'll fully admit, I am biased when it comes to Hall due to my perception of him being a BAB.

OK, thanks guys. I had to enter my pick right after VincentVega posted so the posts that followed his didn't affect my decision although they did kind of confirm it. I was leaning towards Hall and did take him.

I did check remaining games and to me it looks like Leafs have the better, easier schedule. Oil play Ducks 3 times this month. They haven't met this year which surprised me. Strategically though, it made more sense for me to take Hall than Lupul but we shall see.

The franchise above me has Hall, Lupul and Khadri. Just last nite he moved past me into 2nd by one point. Jeez, he's picked up 24 points on me in 7 days (ridiculous) and I think he has the better team although if Lupul and Khadri both slow down it'll be interesting.

But think I'm fighting for third, where I am now. The franchise just below me does have Hall on his roster. So by picking Hall I'm neutering his production anyway. That being said they don't have Lupul on their roster currently but they to still can make a trade today and I will be surprised if they don't add him and dump Kovy. So the tussle for 3rd will come down to Hall vs very likely Lupul.
I have a 5pt lead right now and think I have the better roster. Time will tell. NO way I'm expecting Hall to carry on at this pace but man has he been hot.

Never been an Oilers fan but GO HALL GO!!! lol
