    Default No love for Bishop?

Not sure why but it seems the general consensus around here is that Bishop's future is rather limited.

Until he's traded I guess it's hard to predict but from what I see this guy is outplaying many of the typical goalie prospects that are in the league. Especially on a team that is so beat up. His size alone should get him a few extra looks as well.

Is this guy a huge buy low candidate? I think he could be the next stud goaltender.

The issue with Bishop is that his future is uncertain.

The Senators have Anderson and Lehner, both of which are higher up on the organization's priority list.

Then you have to consider the flooded goalie market and how even a lot of established NHL starters are finding it hard to find work. Add in the possible UFAs this year.

Yeah, he's OK. LOL. Seriously, good on him for that performance in his first appearance in the new sweater.

His 5-hole is so damn big. I've watched every Sens game this season and I'd say about 80% of the goals he lets in are 5-hole. Other than that very solid goalie.

Would anyone drop Holtby for Bishop? Looking to improve the goalie situation for playoffs. 1st place right now with a bye week.

In a Points only league I think you have to stick with Holtby.

With peripherals it's comparable but I still like Holtby. He will get the wins while Tampa Bay... might not lol

It's gonna be interesting to see how the situation shakes out with Lindback & Bishop. Though the acquisition of Bishop definitely doesn't hurt him or the TBL organization considering their lack of depth on the goaltending front.

If I'm a Lindback owner though I'm starting to feel queasy.

The situation in TB is unclear. From what I've read, Yzerman wanted to get Bishop last year but couldn't do so at a reasonable price. Lindback was actually his second choice. If true, Bishop may be the front-runner going forward...

Definitely not. TB goalers in the past couple years get lit up regularly regardless if they are getting wins or not. Also factor in it's likely to be a rotation I'd easily keep Holtby, he has seemed to solidify himself as #1.
