Default Ribeiro and Moulson for Parise +

The Parise owner is making a run at it and has enquirer about Ribeiro and Moulson for Parise +.

    Points carry over.

    I was thinking of offering:

    Moulson
    Ribeiro
    Pavelec
    Koivu
    Bogosian

    For

    Parise
    Ennis (or Stepan)
    J. Johnson

Given my team and league rules, does that make me a better team next year and going forward?

I bet he wants an even sided trade. You win with Parise and Stepan or Ennis - don't get greedy.

It's amazing how many GM's don't realize that this can kill trade talks almost immediately, and then they don't end up with anything at all.

    Shoe,

He's willing to overpay a bit (that's what it takes to win our pool). But it's true I can't get too greedy or hell find someone else to dance with.

Parise is an obvious win over Moulson, but I'd rather keep Ribeiro over Stepan. I have a very competitive team. Though I get younger with this deal, I'm not at all sure I improve my chances for next year, unless I get a bit extra.

Try and see if you can get a pick upgrade instead of another player. Stepan is no slouch and Parise is the one you want really so a pick upgrade should help your team for next year and the future.
