    Default Three trades on the table...(Rep given)

    I'm currently in first. My goals are to: 1) dump an extra goalie, assuming that Anderson is coming back at some point next week, 2) improve my D, 3) not lose too much at forward, which has been consistent through the season. I've got 3 trades with 3 different teams on the table:

    1) Team 1-My Brodeur for his Duchene;

    2) Team 2-My Krejci and Chara for his Ladd and Leddy (might be able to get Semin instead of Ladd); and

    3) Team 3-My Kopitar for his Byfuglien.

    Trade deadline is Monday. Should I do of these deals? None of them? or somewhere in between? Rep given for your thoughts. Thanks!

    I like the first deal since you're carrying too many goalies and I think Duchene is a good return, but there's no way I would take the 2nd deal, and probably wouldn't take the 3rd.

    Only the 1st trade. Second is garbage and third is not that good return for you.

    Just do trade #1 and enjoy the rest of Duchene's career, especially after Brodeur retires this year.

    Or, you take care of all 3 requests with 1 trade. You wanna get rid of a goalie, pick up a solid D, and not mess with forwards?

    Trade Brodeur for Byfuglien.

    Who are your goalies?

    While he's at it he might as well trade Kopitar for Crosby and Malkin.

    It wasn't an option because no one would realistically trade Byfuglien for Brodeur.

    I like option 1. Option 3 I'd think about, but probably decline. In a best case scenario making Option 3 looks like it'd help by getting you a very solid D (while still having 6 good forwards, assuming you get Duchene), but there is a lot of risk. I'd rather hold 7 good forwards in this case.

    Thanks for the advice, guys. I have rejected the second trade and have not yet replied to the third. Follow up: I think I can get either Duchene or Eriksson for Brodeur. Which would you take?

    Duchene for sure. The guy's like 20th in scoring this year and is pretty much the sole source of Colorado's offense.

    Ugh I so badly want to go with Eriksson because he's so underrated but I have to agree, Duchene is better this year. He's essentially the Jamie Benn of Colorado.
