Default 1st round pick for Josi?

If I were to offer up my first round pick (probably 7th or 8th overall) for Josi, am I giving up to much? Should I try and get a pick back with him also?
    Thoughts?

Also just to note, I have another GM's 1st round pick that more than likely is going to be 2nd overall.

What players would be available for that pick?
I can't promise I'll try but I'll try to try.

    Default Josi

For a 7th or 8th I take Josi in a heartbeat. Guy is gonna be a total stud.

Normally the first 6 to 8 picks are all the top prospects from the draft (Jones, McKinnon, Druin, etc.) Where I have what is probably going to be the 2nd overall pick, I'm thinking a 7th or 8th overall pick is worth giving up for Josi.

If all that's available are prospects from the draft then yes, Josi is preferable to that. I was wondering what non-prospects would be available since you don't keep all your players in your league.

Actually he won't be available, as he is one of the other GM's keepers. If he was going to be available I wouldn't think about giving up my 1st round pick.
Basically what I need to know is if he is worth the pick or not?

Yes, I think he is... for a few reasons. 1)Consistently being paired with Shea Weber and logged a huge ton of TOI, 30+ min last game. 2)Josi is a very high hockey IQ guy with a surprising amount of on ice maturity for his age. That's something a lot of young D don't have and never get 3)Nashville lacks scoring from forwards and seems willing to let their top D pick their spots offensively, so long as they don't totally forget about their job on D. 4)How many 7th or 8th overall picks are better than Roman? Let's look back a few years. 2006- 6,7 and 8 were Mueller, Brassard and Okposo, 2007 Voracek, Hamill, Couture, 2008 Filtaov, Boedker, C Wilson. 2009 was better, with OEL getting taken 6 but I think the point is fair... Take the certainty of Josi.
