Trying to aquire Iginla

Just been offered the following trade (in a keeper league).

Iginla for (my) Kadri & Landeskog

Here is what you need to know:

Our pool runs a 19 round slow draft. If a player is drafted in the 1st round, they can't be kept, and will automatically go back into the pot the following year.

- Iginla was drafted Round 3 and can be kept for 2 more years
- Landeskog went in Round 10 and can be kept for 9 more years
- Kadri was picked up of waivers and can be kept for roughly 18 more years.

Personally, I feel I'm giving up way too much, considering we are 3/4 of the way through the season.

Would you counter? With Whom? Not Worth It?

Ummmmm. I'm not sure that's fair. You might want to give him Karlsson as well as Landy and Kadri to make it wirk.

Honestly, on a serious note. That is a horrible offer. Even if this was points only. Landy had a similar season to Iggy last year and it was Landys rookie year. Throw in hits and he needs to give up a LOT more then 3 weeks of Iggy to get 8 years of a roto stud.

I have no problems with you parting with Kadri. He is super hot right now and can't possibly carry on this pace but for Iggy, that is where I would absolutely draw the line. Adding Landy makes this just a joke IMHO

That's an insane offer and I would just reject it without explanation. Even if you were going for it (and you might be, I don't know) you'd lose out not only for the balance of this season but into the future as well. I'm sure this owner is just throwing out ridiculous offers to everyone hoping that someone will be seeing huge totals on Crosby's line. Iginla could well outscore Kadri going forward, but I don't think it will be by much. Adding Landeskog on top of that is ridiculous.
