Need to drop a player from my keeper league because a 2 for 1 trade put me over the player limit, Im having trouble deciding who to drop out of these players:

Dumba
Niederreiter
Nyquist

im leaning towards vanek cause its a salary cap league and I cant afford him moving forward, and hes having injury problems this year and not been that great for me.

I know you have tried but maybe try and make a deal where you give up 2 assets and upgrade.
Beyond that, what are your scoring stats? If hits are not included, I would prob drop Dumba. D tends to be undervalued so you could trade a forward for D later. But if you have no chance of winning this year and can't keep Vanek then there is no point in holding him this year.

IMO, unless a defensive prospect is a world-class young talent (i.e. Karlsson), it will be years & years before he is fantasy relevant. I rarely draft defensemen in my pools that have a farm/prospects.
