Weekes was bad enough as a colour guy, how the hell does Captain Obvious become an analyst on the Hotstove? CBC must not be paying enough, the quality of their analysis is really going downhill.....without Elliot Freidman, I'm scared to think what HNIC will look like....

Anybody that uses "compete" as a noun is on my Do Not Watch list. Main offenders are Healy and McLennen. Lesson here: ex-goalies are terrible to listen to.

you're right. People will beat around the bush but there's only one reason he's on that panel. Same reason why Cassie Campbell was hired a few years ago.
Have to disagree vehemently. While I cannot stand listening to Healy, a self-important blowhard if ever there was one, I think Hrudey is one of the very best hockey analysts in the business, he always has fantastic insight. Weekes is nowhere near as insightful as Hrudey, but if i had to live with either Healy or Weekes, it's Weekes 100 times out of 100.

Hrudey is a great analyst and hot-stove type panelist, but as a colour guy hes terrible.
Weekes isnt bad either, but he does have his moments.
Healey is a putz...plain and simple.
