    Default bozak or shore?

points only. who do you like for the rest of this season and going forward?

i have one waiver pick with a deadline tonight and want someone who could provide spot duty this year and be a solid pick-up/trade bait for next year.

shore is still on his entry level which is nice.

could bozak have added value if he's dealt at the deadline or signs as a UFA somewhere else this summer?

thanks as always to those that share their input

I don't think they will trade Bozak, they are buyers this year not sellers and he is their top C.

If you are in the running and trying to win, go with Bozak.
If you are not in the running and cap management is not a major issue, then go with Bozak.
If you are not in the running and cap management is a major issue next year, then take Shore.

Points only, I'd roll with Shore. I would only keep Bozak if you count faceoffs won, which you don't. Shore has the higher upside and is the cheaper player, so this is pretty clear cut IMO.

I find most of Bozak's value is tied into his FOW as he's a beast in that department, but if that stat doesn't count his value is pretty low. Colbourne is having a pretty solid season with the marlies and with the emergence of Kadri and grabo always there, his value for next season is up in the air depending on what line he ends up on.

That being said he is playing better than usual recently, so for the rest of the season I would take him over Shore. But for the future you have to go with Shore, he's shown he can put up decent numbers and will only get better. Only concern there would be +/- when dealing with a young growing team.
