He has the tools to be multi-cat beast, but I'm not sure he has quite PK's upside. The knocks on Dumba are his size, and whether or not he can bulk up enough to play that same physical game at the NHL level. Also his decision making, namely his aggressiveness which puts him and his teammates in bad spots at times, has been listed as an area he needs to focus on improving. I think he can be a really good NHLer but it will take time to come to fruition.

Im convinced Dumba will thrive in the NHL. I Think Subban is a great comparison. For what it's worth he is my favorite dmam from the 2012 class. Reilly has more offensive skills but I believe Dumba is more well rounded and under valued.

I like Dumba a heck of a lot. He has all the skills to be a dynamic Dman in the NHL but he needs to scale the recklessness back a tad IMO or he could face suspensions and spend a significant amount of time on the IR.

To what do you guys attribute Dumba's significant offensive regression this year? 57 points in 69 GP last year but only 22 points in 62 GP this year. Both years in the WHL.

I asked about that too - apparently that was 20 points off. Elitepropects.com has it wrong. Dumba is producing 40+ last time I checked (2 weeks ago).

42 points in 62 games this season, 16 of those were goals..
But what throws up the caution flag for me, is that he was cut from Team Canada twice.. And wasn't he the captain of the under 18 team??
