Default I can't believe I want to drop Benn

I am currently in 1st place in my H2H league (see players and scoring categories below). I however want to do some fine tuning for the playoffs. I am thinking about dropping Benn. Like most people I really like Benn but I am not sure one of the guys below wouldn't be an upgrade this year.

    Available Free Agents

    Pacioretty
    Stewart
    Dupuis
    Brouwer

What are your thoughts? Good idea to make a move or should I keep Benn?

I don't play H2H but looking at your cats (no FOW, and with SOG) I would be tempted to grab Pacioretty. I worry that Benn's wrist injury is not fully healed, but even if injury is not a concern I see Patches being a little more G heavy. I am a big believer in Benn but given the way Montreal is playing I think Patches might have a slight edge.

Your team is loaded, even for an 8 team league... lol.

I think I'd keep Benn. If you really want to dump him the only one I see working out is Pacioretty (who's also a bit cold, at least until last game). The others aren't even worth discussing.

Grab MaxPac. I feel the same way about Benn's wrist injury and he just doesn't seem to be getting in a groove. If this was a keeper, I'd tell you to get some smelling salts and keep Benn.... But since it's a one-year league, get Max's more steady production and all-around stats.

Before you make the switch... And if you have a H2H playoff coming up, make sure you check LWL's roster maximizer to see if you'll get more starts with Pacioretty vs. Benn. That might make a big difference:

Ya I'd do it, it's a shallow league you're in. I'd pick up either MaxPac or Stewart. depending on what wing you feel like you need. LW or RW

I pretty well agree with what has been said already. The only thing that I would add, is that I feel that there may be a lot more offence to go around in DAL, whereas Pax is more of a main guy. Also, Benn this season kinda reminds me off Doughty last year: holding out on contract and then getting hurt early on. My hunch is that it won't be one of his better seasons.
