    I also can't quit Green... I've been holding out hoping for some sign of life, but now I'm competeing, with a chance to win this year... If I drop green I can grab Josi, who's been excellent lately... but can't click that button...

    I burned a second overall pick for this guy in the draft this season because the previous GM left him unprotected. I too have a Green addiction. One thing I know for sure is I won't be protecting him this year the way it's going unless he's a point a game player down the stretch here. Theres no excuses for him now. If he can;t do it this year after all the groin garbage he will never do it espacially since his team in fighting for a spot and he has all the motivation in the world to do something.

    One last comment on his points drop. It's a totally different system now. No more run and gun offence. He will never be a 70 point guy again or even 50.

    LOL I love reading this thread. It's like watching drug addicts still suffering after you've recently quit.

    I've had a few bouts of withdrawal and I was tempted to relapse but I've managed to stay Green-clean.

    Agreed. It's only funny because it's not me though. I've been Green-clean for a month now and haven't looked back. I've increased my lead in the pool and my other D are even performing better without the elephant on the bench. Cut the cord guys and find out what living (and winning) actually is. The key is not worrying who picks him up after you drop him, and you will be further served in your recovery if you actually take pity on and show compassion towards the guy who acquires him.

    I'm trading Green for Shattenkirk today. Once it's done I'll also be green free as of today and hopefully I get my 1 year chip. Shattenkirk should outplay him over the upcoming years, I hope.

    I actually picked him up this last summer, I think it's the first time I've ever owned Green. I got him cheap so I really can't complain.... I'm not expecting 70 points or even 50, but if he can give me 40 I'll be happy because I know there's always that chance he can give me that rush of scoring. That sweet, sweet rush....

    I'm green free as of today and it feels like the anchor has been taken off from around my neck. Traded him for Shattenkirk and a early first round pick giving up Green, Couture and 4th round pick.
