    Default Trading Rinne(WHIR)

    Team and league in signature.

I'm looking towards next year, and am looking to deal Rinne for some help up front.

At this point, I've been sent 2 offers.

    #1

    Give:
    Rinne

    Get:
    Bernier
    Brunner
    Mikael Granlund

    #2

    Give:
    Rinne
    Edler

    Get:
    RNH
    Justin Peters

I like the thought of getting Bernier in that first deal, but I'm not overly sold on getting the 2 rookies back. I could possibly get either Jamie Benn or Claude Giroux (probably a long-shot) included with Bernier.

The second offer I like - except for losing Edler. I think I could probably get it done without Edler though.

So, the question is, are either of these offers enough. I have very little chance of even making the playoffs right now, so I'm looking to make a splash at the deadline.

Any and all opinions would be appreciated. Thank you all in advance. And I will definitely give opinions on your posts also.

I think you could and should be getting a lot more for Rinne.

Especially considering 40% of your cats are for goalies.

Honestly, I wouldn't even trade Rinne. He and Rask give you a great pair for a long time, even when you will be ready to compete.

elite goalies are hard to replace. even moreso depending on the size of your league. i play in a 16 team league and there are NO goalies available. I'd maybe bet on Bernier, but you need better F in return. Although if Bernier gets traded to a crappy team your screwed. I would not consider the Peters trade.

rinne is pretty elite. he'll be the #1 in nashville for years to come. don't give him away.

You're toast next season if you lose Rinne especially if you start 2 goalies every week, with Rask as your only starting goalie remaining.

Agree with the above sentiment. In your format goalies are GOLD. I would probably not trade Rinne for RNH straight up- never mind the other pieces. Offer 1 is borderline insulting- seriously- lol! Id feel totally comfortable keeping 2 goalies in that format and would be looking for a top 10 forward coming back minimum to consider a move...

    Decline both offers.

Also for those wondering, WHIR means will help in return.
