Evander Kane for his J. Hiller? REP - URGENT!
Should I trade my Evander Kane for his J. Hiller in a 7 H2H keepers league (G,A,P,PPP,+/-,PIM)? Rosters are: 9F, 4D, 2G and 6B.
Kane would not be a keeper. We can change our rosters on a daily baisis.
My goaltenders are killing me so far. After the trade, I would drop Nabokov for D. Campbell or J. Johnson.
I'm currently second but challenging for the first place. We will have 4 weeks playoffs too.

i dont think id do that trade. id look elsewhere for a goalie.
its not terrible though if you cant get anything else done and absolutely need another goalie. i dont think your goalies are that bad. how much would hiller improve them?-- marginally imo.

I need to drop a player to add a D, but I can't drop any of my forwards.
I'm already first for offensive stats, but last for my goalies.
There are no other goalies available on the waivers. I don't think I can strike a better deal elsewhere as the only one that I can do is: my first round pick for Mike Smith.

That is a steep price I wouldn't pay for a goalie like Hiller...but if that is your only option and you need the goalie stats, you may not have a choice.
Personally, I'd keep Kane and trade my pick for Mike Smith, if I had the option.

It is a 10 team league with 7 keepers. Keepers should be:
Stamkos
Sedin
Quick
Getzlaf
Huberdeau
Bernier, Markstrom or Backstrom (G)
Semin, Voracek, Hossa or Kane
I could trade some of these players (including M. Smith if Itrade for him).

oh 10 team league your post is confusing on that part
still a pretty high price to pay imo even in a 10 team
at the end of the day that is your only choice and you think it wins you the championship you make the deal
