Question Putting together G for Playoffs

Ive clinched a playoff spot which begins in 2 weeks. Im in an 8 team league so the FA pool is juicy. Should I drop anyone for a FA?

My goalies: Niemi, Bobrovsky, Fasth, Allen

FA goalies: Hiller, Schnieder, Luongo, Pavelec, Kipper.

    H2H Cats: W, GAA, SV%, SO.

Niemi and the sharks have been shit. Considered dropping him and going with the Ducks duo, or Schnieder. I dont really see SJ turning it around. As I said Ive clinched a play off spot so im thinking about how they will do the last 3 weeks of the regular season. Pretty torn on what to do so some input would be greatly appreciated.

I'd do what Kevin said, or drop just Niemi for Hiller

Based on the fact that you have four goalies - I'd guess that this is a "daily start" league.

    Do this:
*Map out your entire playoff weeks. M/T/W/Th/F/S/Sun.
*Draw up a little grid and pencil in the order of the goalies that you would anticipate starting.

You may find that all four of your goalies are playing on the exact same days consistently. You may decide to strictly look for a goalie that is paying on nights when your group is not.

    It's worth the effort.
I've already done it in my one year leagues.

Personally, I would play safe and roll with the Vancouver and Anaheim handcuff.

Thanks for the quality responses guys. Pengwinz I was actually doing that right as you posted. Looks like Anaheim has a 7 game homestand through out my playoffs the first 2 weeks, including the first 3 games vs Dallas. Vancouver plays SJ, EDM, CAL, PHO, and COL. Good odds if you ask me. Makes the Ducks/Nucks handcuff look pretty appetizing.

Ive also just realized that I could probably trade Niemi, Bob, Allen for some skaters before making the G pick ups..... hmm
