Think it's worth dropping Emery to grab him?

I'd be dumping Vokoun for Allen and then trying to move Bryz for Halak somehow to create the handcuff.

Yeah I own Halak, Price and Holtby and was thinking of dropping Holtby for Allen as the handcuff. Think you just unintentionally convinced me.

Nope. I was wrong. Logical choice - the hot hand, Allen, in net.

Blues don't play again till Tuesday, next B-B is Sat/Sun next weekend. Tonight vs Ducks and Tues @ Canucks, both tough games. I picked him up Thursday prior to the game, more of a depth move.
I wouldn't drop a starter for him or use my last waiver, but not many b/ups I would have ahead of him either.

Remember last year when people thought Elliott was gonna permanently take over the starting gig?

Allen is playin well right now no doubt, but i don't think the team will want to go into the playoffs with a goaltending controversy. Last year they gave Halak a lot of opportunities to take the gig back. And I think as we get closer to playoff time we will see that again this year.

The issue, like I mentioned in my post, is that time is running out. So Halak needs to put up or Shutup so to speak.

Elliott at this point, who knows. I had very little faith in him and had him ranked really low in my drafts this year. In the perfect situation the blues would be rolling Halak and Elliott with confidence and have Allen continue to develop in the AHL.

Cant help but laugh about how badly the Blues could use somebody like Ben Bishop right now. That would allow them to waive Elliott and let him go and roll Halak/bishop and let Allen develop.

Another win for Allen. That makes 8 in a row.

94 of the last 97 shot stopped.

Absolute beast at 22 yrs old. Certainly has potential to be really special in keeper leagues.

Is there anybody on my team that I can drop for him? As it stands I am:
    - Second in league
    - Last in wins/shutouts, need to make a play while there are games left.
    - -5 games for goalie, -9 games for dmen, +8 for C, +1 each Wing

Im able to and willing to roster 4 goalies, thinking of dropping Hodgson or Marleau but unsure? Any and all thoughts very appreciated.
(Ryan, Nash, Varlamov are gone - now have Schneider, Del Zotto and activated Hartnell, roster in signature hasn't updated)

If you are desperate for another G the only guy I would conceivably drop would be Hodgson. However, Hitchcock seems to be good at getting 1 good season out of random goalies (Mason, Elliot, now Allen) so I wouldn't have much faith in Allen's long term prospects....

Hodgson seems to be developing nicely and if he can get some more consistent PP time could be a very good player.

Yup, ball is now in your court Mr. Halak. If he keeps it up he's back.

Selfishly hoping this is accurate, but Halak will definitely be seeing the ball more often now, and not just once every 2 weeks.
