How does yahoo count goalie starts. Is it enough to just to get on because starting goalie gets pulled or does he have to be on for 5 min or something? And if I start lets say Crawford and he gets pulled and my second goalie is Emery do I get 2 starts?

Goalie starts are what they are - you start a game, you get a goalie start. You don't (subbed in or don't play), you don't.

Are you talking about games played?

Games played... both Crawford and Emery would get a game played in your example. Just being on the ice for 1 second would result in a game played.

Yeah, a backup could come in for a couple of minutes because the starter has an equipment problem or something, not even face a single shot and still get credit for an appearance. That's all Yahoo cares about.
