Default [Article] Will the Hawks have to buy-out Hossa?

I'm not a fan of Larry Brooks (for instance, I didn't know Doughty won the Norris last year ), but I thought this article was interesting. Seems like the Hawks will have to do something major.

Did Brooks look at nhlnumbers.com before?

Pretty sure the Hawks will buy out Olesz before buying out the best 2-way winger in the game.

    Interesting article thought.

Lets not get carried away with the hyperbole. Good? Yes. Best? There's a few I'd rather have.

He is thinking long term, and Olesz is off the books after next year.

He was referring to two-way wingers. Meaning offense + defense. Most of the guys in this list are not big defensive presences.

    Landeskog perhaps in the future.

I'm sure we could come up with a few who are comparable, regardless, Hossa is the man.

I stand corrected then...he is definitely above Hossa if he is considered a winger

I don't think there is one who combines both as well unless you blur the lines between C and W (Datsyuk, Zetterberg, etc).

If I didn't 'read' the two way....I would have threw in Kane, Kessel, Semin, Carter, etc.

No need to get condescending and quote "people need to read more"
