Does this guy have any value anymore? His limited NHL appearances have not been good, and he's now in a system where there is a guaranteed rock solid starter in the bigs for the next decade. At least with Tampa there was a chance he'd get a shot at proving himself, but with MTL its looking pretty bleak, though in 5 starts with Hamilton he's put up decent numbers.

Not sure whether to bail on him or sit tight - make a trade for another G prospect or pick up a guy like Peters.

In MTL he could potentially make it as a backup behind Price, which is something that isn't even guaranteed in an organization that needs goaltending. In a single line I would label him as "Potential backup with a bit of upside".
