    Default The next Karlsson/Shattenkirk??

Who do you believe is the next dman to become as successful as these two guys above??

I wouldn't mind a few options here, a list of a few guys that will or may be a big time point producer and worth owning in a POINTS ONLY keeper league??

We know about Schultz, OEL, MDZ, and Hamilton.. who elese??

Brendan Smith is another name that comes out a lot.
    M. Rielly is another.
Morrow just needs to find himself on the PP with the likes of Crosby, Malkin, and co.

Vatanen is huge boom/bust. Having a nice first season in N. America. Among the D leaders in the AHL and saw some NHL action. Boudreau clearly likes to get his team to score, so he could benefit there. For that same reason, I think we're gonna see more and more from Fowler.
    Points-only, Full Keeper Dynasty League
Active roster (no starts, just total points): 12 FW, 6 D, 1 Goalie

Forwards: Kucherov, Barkov, Teravainen, Seguin, Hoffman, Lindholm, Gusev, Horvat, Meier, Perron, Schwartz, Johansen, Pavelski, Buchnevich, Hischier, Granlund, Bracco

Defense: Josi, Dahlin, Letang, Gostisbehere, Ekman-Larsson, Petry, Slavin, Keith, Matheson

    Goal: Lehner, Holtby, Varlamov

Farm: Soderstrom, York, Woo, Tracey, Dorofeyev

    Default Defenseman

What I do is target 40 point defenseman from the year before who are in the last year of contract

Green went from 56 to 73
Yandle went from 41 to 59
Karlsson went from 45 to 78
Shattenkirk went from 43 to a 65 point pace this season

Then you trade them for a kings ransom and get a young cheap defenseman that can do the same the following year they never repeat, yes Green did it again for 76 points but the majority for whatever reason don't repeat I told people for whatever reason Karlson wont repeat he got injured and I think in the future he's good for 50-60 points not 78 in his career year.

Justin Faulk if he changes from a shutdown role to a PP role (which I don't see happening).

Justin Schultz is probably the best answer here. Keep Sami Vatanen in mind.

Its a sound strategy. Especially with Green & Karlsson as they become massive targets for the grinders to check every single shift.

I've watched M. Rielly play - he reminds me a lot of Karlsson.

I really like OEL. He's quietly a top 5 scoring d man so far this year. I wouldn't be surprised to see him have a huge season as early as next year.

    Noun
(slang, idiomatic) 1. A person who habitually corrects or criticizes the language usage of others, especially in situations where it is unnecessary, e.g. an informal conversation.
Notes: This behavior is almost always found in people with very low I.Q's, whom have a very low sense of self worth. Impotence is also commonly linked to Grammar Nazi's.

I don't know what to think about this guy. The skill set that I read about vs. what I see when I watch him play, are two different things. Something doesn't add up.

We're at post #15 and nobody mentionned Subban.
I see a lot of good things from Subban.
Since he signed and played his first game this year (feb 2), he only trails Letang by one point for top dmen scorers.
Keeper league (12 teams) - keep 6 (+ NHL team is auto keep)
    Weekly lineup: 1T, 9F, 4D, 1G
    Points only:
    Forwards & Dmen: goal (1), assist (1)
    Goalies: win (2), otl/sol (1), shutout (2)
    Team: win (2), otl/sol (1)
Only 2 FA pickups for the season (remaining: 0)

    [F] Panarin, Pettersson, Bedard
    [D] Heiskanen, Theodore, Dobson
