Who is on WW to replace the guy you give in the 2-for-3?
Or who is he dropping to fit the 3-for-2.
Is it worth taking the dropped player?

I think you're getting the best player. Atkinson is more limited in upside, Tlusty is a wildcard going forward (seems he's hit the jackpot with linemates, but that could change).
Kulikov's the toughest to give up.

I think it's a good deal. You've got some nice young D coming up.

Wheeler is the best player in the deal. I'd make this in a second. Your D can afford the loss of Kulikov and you get a pick upgrade and also a FA pickup

FA pickup I may wait on....we do have pretty larger reserves. I did just drop Hudler for Beauchemin, so may pick him up again?? Tried to make this deal earlier in week and free up spot, but couldnt wait and risk Beauchemin getting plucked

These are the types of trades I like making, trading away some depth players for one solid guy. Nothing huge but a clear upgrade. I think Wheeler is definitely worth moving that package for. Helps you more this season and should moving forward. The only downside to the deal is you lose the better D in Kulikov.

Not to discount Kulikov, but Franson is looking pretty slick currently too. May not be that big of a loss between Franson and Kulikov
