Good grief with that guy! You'd think the trainers would be able to come up with a routine to warm that guy up properly.

I just dealt him for Elias and Campbell and couldn't be happier to not deal with the headaches he brings

    From Yahoo;

New Player Note Fri, Mar 1

Green aggravated his groin injury and will not play in Saturday's game against the Jets, Katie Carrera of the Washington Post reports.

Recommendation: Green played in the last two games after missing roughly two weeks, but it appears he returned a bit too soon. It's not clear how long Green will be out beyond Saturday, but keep an eye out for further details if he is part of your fantasy team.

    Breaking News:

"Mike Green will be injured off and on for the rest of his life. Any fantasy owners still holding on to the faintest of hope that this douche might someday return to a 60 point defenseman, should seriously consider not being in a hockey pool anymore."

Source: The no longer frustrated former owners of Green who finally gave up on him last year.

Canīt believe i traded Byfuglien to get him two years ago. For me it looked like Byfuglien is just on a hot streak and the trade was a steal.

    Well it was NOT!

But i just donīt want to trade Green now. He will never get back to his old production, but just a smal streak could really give him back some trade value.

What a joke indeed. I wish he would just hang em up for the season so I can drop him and not have to worry about regretting it down the road.

    Seriously. Just hang em up.

If you can get decent value for him then do it. Like I mentioned above I was able to deal him for Elias Campbell and a pick upgrade.

Green is like a curse to own in fantasy, The GM i dealt him to I'm facing this week and wouldn't you know he is now missing practice while Campbell has 5 pts in his last 2 for me

It amazes me that you were able to get that for Green given that he's played about 97 games the past 2+ seasons (including this one) and registered a total of 38 points in that time. I doubt very much that anyone in my league would give up either Elias or Campbell for him, much less both in addition to a pick upgrade. That is one hell of trade for you! Folks seeking to bail out now ought to set their expectations a good bit lower I would think.

If he doesn't produce very soon, I'm going to be dropping him for a Goligoski or Corvo- caliber player.

This season is too short to be waiting on guys like Green.

Yeah that's the way I feel too. I really doubt anyone would be willing to even roster him at this point in my league...but the only thing stopping me from dropping him is the off-chance someone does add him. Nobody's willing to pay for him but I could see someone taking a gamble on him for free...I know I would.

At the end of the day, he plays crazy amount of special teams minutes. Ovy and co. haven't exactly been helping him point wise. The groin injury is frustrating, but if you have a free spot, I'd bench him until he plays a good week, injury free rather than a flat out drop. Potential is still there, to a lesser extent of course.
