Default Parenteau + Yandle vs Skinner + Phaneuf

After asking you for some advice on a Skinner-Yandle trade in another thread, I offered my D for his F.
He said he was thinking about it and give me his decision by the end of the week.
Now, I learn that Wisniewski is out with a broken foot. :-(
I don't want to take my offer off the table since I want Skinner on my team.
But if he accept, I would be short at D. Meaning I would have to dress one of Franson or Nikitin each week.
I asked another gm for Phaneuf. He wants Parenteau or Wheeler and would be willing to send DelZotto instead of Phaneuf if I want to (I think I prefer Phaneuf here).
    1) Would you look for another D after trading Yandle and losing the Wiz to long term injury?
    2) If yes, would you give Phaneuf or Wheeler or neither to get Phaneuf?
I like having good F options, but I don't like being short on D...

Where are your team in the standings? In a 12 team points only thats what a winning team looks like. Loosing PAP/Wheeler (basically same upside for this season maybe trade PAP because of Duchenes recent injury) and Yandle for Skinner/Phaneuf will make your team less competitive this season, maybe you already figured that out and your resoning is that you can afford it?

Points only I like Del Z better but he is also hurt so go with Phanuef for PAP. Franson is doing ok for now so I guess that works.

But I have to say that at this point I prefer Yandle over Skinner as a keeper and that this move is kind of lateral + your getting more injuried players on your roster.

    I'm currently in 1st place. 12 ahead of 2nd and 20 from 3rd.
Why I want Skinner on my team is because a near ppg player is more valuable than a D, even a good D. D are SO unpredictable!
    I like more 2 80 pts F and 2 40 pts D than 2 65 points F and 2 55 pts D. Again, because D are so unpredictable.
I keep a Doughty and and Yandle having in mind 55 points sesaons. I won't get those numbers (prorated) from those D...
    ---
DelZotto is hurt, but I think he comes back soon. Am I right?
So, DelZ > Phaneuf? I like DelZ too, but I thought Phaneuf was a safer bet...
    Any other opinions on that?

Yeah sorry Phaneuf it is, I was thinking of them more in a keeper format but this is a one year decision.

So just to be clear, this boils down to the chances of Yandle having a + 50 p next season or Skinner + 75p next season? and youre not risking the lead by doing this? Because Im not shure who I would take in such a bet. Yandle might be out of Phoenix soon with OEL as the new top dog and their low salary structure.
I would hold on to Yandle and if hes not moved maybe keep Wheeler for next season instead of risking anything now. But as you said its probably better to get more opinions on this one

I want to win this year, for sure.
I don't want to risk anything.
I think (I'm not sure, that's why I ask here on this site) that I have more chance to win with Skinner than Yandle on my team.
I find that forwards are a safer bet than dmen when talking consistancy.
Then again, I may be wrong...
The tendency in my pool year after year is to keep more and more F and less D.
Some gms keep 6 forwards, no D and no G.
It becomes difficult to draft good (near ppg) forwards.

I don't see this changing your keepers (swap in Skinner for Yandle I guess?) so I'd prefer to keep Yandle+PAP for the remainder of the year if you're going for the win in a pts only league.
    10-team Auction League, $160 team salary, weekly H2H, start: 6F, 4D, 1G and 5 Bench

    Scoring structure: (F : 1pt G / 1pt A / 0.15pts SOG / 0.15pts Hits / 0.15pts BlkS), (G : 5 pts W / 3 pts SO / 0.01 pts Saves)

    Forwards : Ovechkin ($43), Kessel ($20), Benn ($7), Spezza ($13), Brown ($7), Marchand ($13), Landeskog ($3), Elias ($1), Plekanec ($1),

    Defenses : Letang ($26), Visnovsky ($1), Bieksa ($1), Faulk ($2) Ehrhoff ($2)

    Goalies : Holtby ($7), Nabokov ($2)
