Parise can't score
Can he be less productive... he has the most SOG in the league and scored like 2 goals in the past 15 games. I traded Ovechkin for him after 5 games in the season and I look stupid right now
At the time you probably looked like a genius for trading OV for him. Now because OV has had one good game you think you look stupid? Get real. Both guys are quality scorers and every player goes through hills and valleys. Ovechkins been sliding into a valley for a couple years now.
I wouldnt worry about Parise scoring, it will come.

I agree that people should not have had massive expectations but last year he suffered from being down low on the PP opposite of Kovy on the blue line who took all the shots (Elias was the outlet on the opposite post/hash marks). I honestly thought he would have picked it up a bit more this year simply by being more of the go-to-guy on the PP.
