Default What Are You Watching or Have Watched?

I'm off for a week, and need some new shows. I've seen Breaking Bad, Dexter, Homeland and a few others

I don't feel the Spartacus, Game of Thrones kind of thing though...

Elementary has done a decent job of being my new Mystery solving drama after House was done...

    soo

    What's on your tv/computer/tablet/ i-watch whatever!!?

The Following - Great new show starring Kevin Bacon
Suits - Man I love this show. Witty and entertaining
Criminal Minds - Long time favorite of mine
Continuum - Season 1 just ended a couple months ago but this show was pretty good too.
Longmire - Patiently waiting for Season 2 to start.

Those are some of the shows I have been following pretty religiously lately. I will let you look them up on www.imdb.com to read about the story line etc and see if its something that may interest you.

Wilfred is quite possible the best show on television right now, I've only seen the first season but it is amazing!
    Without me, it's only "aweso".

I'm watching a few series that just came out on Netflix:

*Nurse Jackie (season 4) - good if you have to find things to watch with the wife.
*Game of Thrones (season 2) - this is just for me.

And I'm finishing Season 4 of Breaking Bad on Netflix... got about 3 episodes left.

Season Two is pretty good. I've only seen the first few episodes but I was entertained. I will say though that after watching the first season of this and then having Ted come out over the summer the whole uninhibited talking friend that shouldn't actually talk schtick is starting to lose it's novelty, which probably explains why I haven't obsessively binge watched it the way I did Season One.

Back to the OP though - do you have Netflix because if you do I'd recommend any of the following:

    Arrested Development
    Community
Californication - They only have up to Season 3 even though the show is midway through Season 6 but that should get you started.
    Mad Men
    Trailer Park Boys
Justified - Only has the first two seasons even though it's midway through Season 4.
Sherlock - The BBC reboot is ****ing fantastic. If you liked House and Elementary (both are Sherlock stories) you'll love this modernized take. There are only six "episodes" because that's how British TV works but each episode is an hour and a half long so you basically are sitting down to watch a movie.
House of Cards - Netflix's original show with Kevin Spacey. It's good.

Personally, I've started to dive into the X-Files. With nine seasons worth of material this should be quite the journey. I'd watched quite a few episodes as a kid and loved it but never could follow it week to week so this will be making up for lost time.

    Oh - it's very good.
Spacey is brilliant. He fits the role and the role fits him.
    Perfect match.

I don't know about Canada, but here in the States, those shows air over there first and then a week or two later we'll get them. Used to be with like Top Gear the new season would air in it's entirety there and we'd see it a month after that.

Err... I forgot to put 'filming' in that statement. My apologies.

I'd heard filming would start now-ish and the shows would be out in the fall... too damn long to wait!

Yeah, still this calendar year though and with Thrones coming back soon, Mad Men a month later, Breaking Bad in the summer it'll be back in no time.
