Make a move?

Hey.

When I began this year, I was thinking that I would probably be settling for another 8th place finish in my league. Then a weird thing seems to have happened - a lot of my guys arrived at once, and I have been surging for the last month and now sit in second place and out of first by very few points with a little bit of a buffer growing between myself and third place.

Because of a poor finish last year, I managed to get a great farm going and other GMs are interested. The question is... is my team for real this year, or is this just a hot streak? Guys playing out of their minds (or out of character) include: Schenn, Voracek, Luongo, P. Kane, Hodgson, St. Louis.

I'd hate to lose the talented Tarasenko, Galchenyuk, or Huberdeau to take a failed shot at winning. But I am starting to be convinced that these young players are finally ready to shine.

Your team looks really solid a bit weak on C but Huberdeau, Galchenyuk will adress that next season. You should not sell your farm, just keep the ship steady and you will compete for real next season and beyond. If it works this year fine but no need to make any panic moves and no its not just hotstreaks thats been lifting your team.

Ya I think I'd stand pat and enjoy the ride. Your young guys will only add to the solid foundation you already have in place. Unless you get a sick offer, I'd keep what you have and reap the benefits for years to come.
