Early for keeper consideration but...

Who would you take as the 6th keeper and rookie keeper?

My obvious top 5 keepers are:

Sidney Crosby
Bobby Ryan
Tyler Seguin
Erik Karlsson
Pekka Rinne

And am torn between the last 2 as keepers:

Matt Moulson
Max Pacioretty

My two rookies to pick from are:

Alex Galchenyuk
Vladimir Tarasenko

I have even considered keeping none of Moulson or Patches and keep both Galchenyuk and Tarasenko instead. Either way, I have more options than I like at this point. No one values Moulson fairly because he is an Islander and everyone in my league thinks Patches' last season was a fluke.

What would you guys do?

I would keep Pacioretty and Tarasenko, giving you two good LWs and RWs and you'll have Crosby at C. See the separate threads on Pacioretty, indeed many believe that last year was a fluke, but trust me, it wasn't. Pacioretty will be a huge fantasy contributor over the years and he's only 23, it's a no-brainer to keep him in my view. And this way, you are protected in the (admittedly unlikely) even that one of the two rookies doesn't pan out as everyone expects.

As for Moulson, he's awesome and hugely underrated in fantasy circles. It's ridiculous, all he does is contribute in so many categories, yet he's consistently drafted lower than he should be. That said, with this small a number of keepers and the other options, and given that Moulson is 7+ years older than the rest of these guys, I wouldn't keep him.

Agreed with the above on maxpac. He's a beauty. Enough said above.
I would take Gally over Tarasenko though. They're both fantastic options and you've got a good problem on your hands, but I just happen to like his game more. He's consistent(be it short sample size) and I think he'll eventually find his way to centering maxpac full time and I love the idea of having both of them. His game is mature beyond his years and he'll only get better. It won't surprise me if he ends up being the player to come out of last years draft.
I also like his situation better in Montreal than I do Tarasenko in St. Louis for he immediate future anyway.
But again, you can go wrong either way.
